A company donated a water treatment system worth US$6,500 to a charity to commemorate its 25th anniversary.

ClearWater System will install a filtration and UV disinfection system in the main pump room of the Bermuda Diabetes Association's new location on Princess Street in Pembroke.

The company's general manager Kevin Lanthier said: "ClearWater Systems has always been an important partner to many charities and associations in Bermuda.

"Our partnership with the Bermuda Diabetes Association is another example of how we can help improve the operations of these very important entities."

The system will provide protection for all water equipment in the new building.

ClearWater Systems will also install osmotic drinking water systems and water dispensers.
